The Miami Beach Convention Center always has something going on. This week the 44th annual South Florida Auto Show comes to town. Beginning on the 3rd of December Art Basil Miami Beach comes to the center. On the 14th you have a Children's Holiday Party and on the 26th thru the 28th Discover the Dinosaurs closes out the month. I grew up on Miami Beach surrounded by family and great friends. What I remember most was spending the days on the beach and then jumping on the local bus and catching a movie. There were a bunch of theaters around town but the ones that come to mind are The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater, Byron Carlyle Theatre, Colony Theatre and the Miami Beach Cinematheque.
Dining in Miami Beach is second to none and such a wonderful experience. Just to mention a few; you have Cafe Prima Pasta, Pied a Terre, The Traymore Restaurant & Bar, GO-GO Fresh Food Cafe and Cara Mia Trattoria. These 5 restaurants are touted as the best restaurants in Miami Beach.
